HVAC Maintenance – Why you don’t want to let it become a problem
It doesn’t matter if you own a single family home, townhome, condo or multi-family rental property in the Central Valley, your rental will most likely have an HVAC unit and if you let HVAC Maintenance slip you could be facing an expensive repair bill.
Don’t Neglect HVAC Maintenance
Sadly, most property owners will only think about maintaining their HVAC systems long after they need help and by then it will already be too late.
Expensive Replacement
Sadly the cost to replace an HVAC system can be as high as high as $10,000 depending on the size of your rental property but thankfully you can avoid the cost of replacing an HVAC system by choosing to have the HVAC system in your Rental Properties professionally cleaned.
Regular Maintenance Works
Besides scheduling regular maintenance of your HVAC system one of the best things you can do to insure that the HVAC unit in your rental property is running well right now is to do the following:
1. Purchase a new air filter for your HVAC unit.
2. Replace air filters at least every 90 to 120 days.
3. Clear two feet of space from your HVAC unit regardless if it’s inside or outside your home.
4. Clean the air conditioner condensate drain in your HVAC unit by pouring in a mixture of one cup bleach mixed with water.
